AAAAAAAAAH~! That is me. Running around my basement flailing my arms. I don't know why. I just did. Because I felt like it. But maybe it has something to do with me being really really hyper and really really depressed at my work
at the same time.

I'm talented that way.
Yeah, see, I was supposed to turn in my entry for the Lasaro Lovers contest today. But it's not finished. And it sucks. And I worked so hard on it. And it sucks. *droops* -.- I know how I want it to turn out. But I don't know how to make it turn out that way. >>' *sigh* Do you ever have that feeling when you're trying to portray something in your art?
I went to Anime Expo this weekend. It was a 19 hour drive from Oregon down to Anehiem, California. I was bored, as is expected, so I kept a time journal of what happened:
Friday, 12:30 am ~ Got in car and left.
1:00 am ~ Took out the Pizza Lunchables and devoured them.
4:44 am ~ Put the Decemberists into the radio and listened.
5:00 am ~ Car dancing ensued. Sun threatening to rise at us.
6:00 am ~ Stopped at a store. Bought chocolate. Chased a butterfly. Ate at McDonalds.
1:00 pm ~ Had lunch at Taco Bell. Saw some other kids headed to AX as well. One was wearing a Kenshin shirt.
3:00 pm ~ It was 105 degrees. We died. And squiggled.
4:00 pm ~ Pretty~! Look at the mountains! And desert~! And hawks and coyotes! And cows...lots and lots of cows. Went past a sign saying we were entering the city of Lost Angels. Er.. Las Angelas. Whatever. >>;
6:00 pm ~ Been stuck in traffic... Like coconuths. Which grow on all these palm trees.
7:00 pm ~ Traffic. Death. Need...restrooms... >>;;;;
8:00 pm ~ We're there! And have badges! And a hotel!
Saturday I dressed Gothic Lolita. And saw Mana. I spent six hours waiting in line that day for him. He was pretty. But he looked sad. And he signed my poster. I bought the same poster that most everyone else there had bought, so poor Mana was signing the same picture over and over again. I mentioned this to him and his translator, and she laughed, then said something to him. I'm asuming that she translated my comment, because he looked up at me. After he signed my poster he held out his hand. And I'm all 'eeeh? Eep?' Because I hate shaking peoples' hands. It's just weird to me.

But I held his hand, and he shook it. It was all rather...odd. But still cool.
During his panel we were able to ask him questions. By the way, thanks to Kyle saving a spot in line for me, I was able to sit in the very front row, directly in front of him. Someone asked how he was able to keep his make-up on so long. And he said, "Don't sweat." And someone asked him how he was able to keep his hair up and make it do such cool things. And he said, "Passion."
Therefore, we decided that the reason Mana doesn't sweat is because his sweat is actually Passion. And all his Passion goes up to his head, and holds his hair together. *nod nod*
Sunday I dressed as a lolita version of Meowth. You know, from Pokemon. Because Kyle was a lolita Pikachu. ^.^

And then Monday was the Masquerade Ball. We wore black and white. I was in a ball gown with a black frilly top. And I wore a white mask I had made with sparkles and black paint and white flowers and silver ink. And we went to an art party. We all drew pictures together. One of the games we played was where we all got out a peice of paper, and we would doodle on that paper for 1 minute, then pass it to the left, and doodle on the next paper. And it went on like that until we got our own paper back. We ended up with some really funny final papers. That night there was a really fun game that some kids were playing on the street. One (really pretty!) guy was playing the keyboard. He played really well, too! And he was directing the game. The game was Sony vs. Nitendo, and each side had players who on their turn would jump out with an insult about the other side portrayed in some kind of attack. It was coolzor.
And then Monday I went to a Markers panel, and then to a Copics workshop. And I watched some animes. And bought lots of posters and artwork. Like one where its the characters from Howl's Moving Castle skipping along like the Wizard of Oz. And Tuesday Laura Bailey signed my badge. *squiggle* She plays Tohru from Fruits Basket, and Lust from FMA. And I hung out with some artists in the Dealer's Room from some college in CA. And I fell in love with two animes: Paradise Kiss and Samurai Shampoo. I'm pretty sure it's actually Champloo. But Shampoo works too.
I'm so sad though...

Even though I got to see Mana, I found out later that Hyde had been there too. I mean, Mana is pretty and all, but Hyde is my favorite J-Rocker. T.t He's so lovely! *sob cling* I wish I could have seen him. ..Oh well... >>
Sorry for talking at you all so much lately.
Love ya all!!!!
